Once upon a time, I thought I would move out to the boonies and put up a dome, and live happily ever after.
Now here is what I had in mind...
I worked on this plan while I looked for a suitable piece of land out of town so I would not have to deal with City officials.
My original idea was to make a wooden 2x4 framework covered with plywood and shingles, pink panther in the studs, sheetrock inside. Pipes embedded in footings below the concrete slab were to support a second floor, a loft.
Then in 1992 I found a place I liked and started paying for it. I put up this small pipe frame with the intent of covering it with ferrocement and living in it while I built a larger dome. I was blessed with the loan of a 28' RV and never had to live in this.
