The second day started with "Geodesic Dome Principles 101" presented by Gerard Blanchard of Native Earthling World. In less than an hour Gerard went from the five Platonic Solids to practical geodesic frame design. There were lots of questions and ideas during this session.

Among other things, Gerard explained how to make a "Dome Stick" that has all the needed measurements for a pipe frame. This is a handy tool that was developed by John Hall.

This hour was probably the most popular part of the workshop, not counting the excellent lunches : )
