We had a completed 5/9 frame waiting, and quickly piled the prepared triangles around it. A variety of fastening methods were experimented with, and the best method proved to be wire poked through the triangles, around the pipe frame, and twisted on the outside to provide an anchor for later plastering with papercrete.

Brave Bill placed the first triangle at the top.

The second one followed right behind.

We found that variations in mixes had made some of the triangles a bit oversized. These were easily trimmed with a saw and triangles were quickly added.

Here is the partially completed dome, ready for door framing and plastering with cement rich papercrete.

In this workshop we did not cover items like foundations and final finishing, though we did touch on electrical and plumbing. After the workshop the triangles were removed from the frame and it was placed on a formed 24" ring wall (what we affectionately call a Molly) before the triangles were put back on, and a papercrete floor poured inside.
